How to use TUTTOFARE Tallow Balm

Daily in the morning as a moisturiser or evening as a night cream.

On its own, apply a small amount to face, neck and décolletage. Apply on clean, slightly damp skin whenever possible.

Use as the final step in your skincare routine when layering the balm with other products. A little goes a long way.

Scent and texture

Naturally scented with cocoa butter. Formulated without essential oils and fragrances to avoid irritation on sensitive skin.

Feels like a cross between a solid coconut oil and whipped butter between fingertips. (But we never whip or blend our tallow because this impacts the fatty acids.)

As a moisturising cream, TUTTOFARE Tallow Balm melts into your skin naturally when rubbed in at room temperature. Easily spreadable. No greasy residue.

Love love love

    Dating back to Roman times, beef tallow was traditionally used by our ancestors as a sustainable moisturiser before the introduction of petrochemicals. Naturally occurring fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K – plus conjugated linoleic acid and niacin – absorb easily to help soften fine lines, improve skin tone, and the appearance of UV-damaged skin. Renowned for a dense concentration of oleic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid, grass fed beef tallow deeply moisturises to help rebalance natural oil production. Unlike petrolatum-based ingredients, which behave as a barrier cream, beef tallow is an emollient with occlusive properties that mimics the skin’s natural sebum with the added benefit of antioxidants.

    Niacin, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and other fatty acids occur naturally in beef tallow, which are well-known in traditional skincare for their nourishing and skin-conditioning properties. Stearic acid, native to tallow, also has skin-softening properties and helps form a barrier with the skin. Holy Grail Tallow Balm is especially loved by customers with dry or sensitive skin.
