Natural Deodorant

Natural deodorant uses natural ingredients to help control body odour. But it's not an antiperspirant.

Unlike regular deodorants, natural deodorants do not contain harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances or aluminum salts. Instead, natural deodorants rely on natural ingredients including natural butters (like shea butter or tallow) and natural neutralisers (like baking soda or next-level minerals). This may help to ‘deodorise’ odour-causing bacteria and leave skin feeling moisturised and fresh – without the use of aluminium salts or synthetic fragrance.

A tallow deodorant is a natural deodorant made from beef tallow. Tallow is nutrient-rich, skin-compatible and provides a soothing, moisturising base. This may help help neutralise odour naturally without blocking sweat glands. Many people on the more sensitive side prefer deodorants made without aluminium salts, synthetic fragrance or certain preservatives. These ingredients may block sweat glands, and they are sometimes associated with irritation or discomfort.

Unlike aluminum-based antiperspirants, zinc ricolenate doesn't block sweat glands. It may help manage body odour at its source. Unlike aluminum compounds in antiperspirants, magnesium hydroxide doesn't block sweat glands. This may help neutralise odor, while not interfering with the body’s natural sweating process.

No, sunflower seed wax is not a seed oil. Sunflower oil is a seed oil, whereas sunflower seed wax is a solid, plant-derived wax that helps with glide. Sunflower seed wax doesn’t carry the same fatty acid profile. This one is low in polyunsaturated fats.
